The way that you think can have a powerful effect on how you live, act, and even recover from an injury. Everyone has certain beliefs, and these beliefs are powerful enough to affect you in both positive and negative ways.
There are so many times when I hear people say, “I am not sure if this will happen” or “I am not sure if I can achieve what I need to”. The worst one though is “I am at the age when things are impossible for me to do”. Anytime I hear statements like that, I want to cry, because I know that those people are going to end up with those negative outcomes.
I want everyone to know that they have the power to think positive thoughts and that anyone, regardless of their age or abilities can recover from any injury.
That means that you have the power to have a fabulous recovery and that your beliefs are guiding your body through your recovery process. When you think positive thoughts like “I can do this” or “I can tackle anything that comes my way”, that will become your truth.
I want to urge you to be cautious with the words that you use, the thoughts that you have, and the stories that you share. It only takes one negative word, thought, or part of a story to introduce more negativity into your brain. I also urge you to not listen to all of those people that say that you cannot do anything more than you are, because when you do, you are simply giving all of your power away to them!
This power is yours to use as you see fit and you need to use it to challenge yourself to recover the way that you know that you can! You are more than capable of completely healing and you will have an amazing recovery if you take the time to believe in yourself.
Negative thoughts are going to be your enemy throughout your recovery process, so squash them as best as you can. Think positive and if you are struggling in any way, reach out to me.
