Congratulations on your meditation journey thus far! I know how difficult this journey has been for you and I want you to know that I am here for you every step of the way. I want to help you with all of the struggles that you may be facing, while also celebrating all of your successes.

One of the struggles that I hear from many people is that they do not always know where they should be meditating. While you can meditate anywhere, you may find that you can easily keep your meditation schedule if you have a room, or space, dedicated to your meditation. Once you have this designated room, you can easily walk into it and start meditating whenever you want to. You will no longer need to spend a few minutes getting things set up, nor will you find yourself searching for a place to meditate.

4 Steps to Create the Perfect Meditation Room

4 Steps to Create the Perfect Meditation Room

Step 1 – Find Your Space

Not everyone can instantly empty out a room to use for meditation, and it is not that easy to build an addition either. However, there should be a space somewhere in your home that you can set up as a meditation room. Etch out some space in the corner of your living room or bedroom, or if you live where it is warm most of the year, you might want to consider the garden or another outdoor space.

Step 2 – Make Your Space Comfortable

As I have mentioned many times, there is no right or wrong way to meditate. However, you must be comfortable when you are doing it! Therefore, I recommend making your meditation room as comfortable as possible. Add a comfortable cushion to the floor, if you plan on sitting down there, or add a chair that will give you the comfort that you desire and the support that you need.

Step 3 – Add Beautiful Decor and Personalization

You and I both know that you are only going to use your new meditation room if you love being in that space. I suggest that you add some beautiful decor and personalize it as well. Consider adding a little wall art, crystals, journals, books, statues, candles, and even a few flowering plants to brighten up the room. You may even want to consider essential oils to enhance your meditation experience.

Step 4 – Keep it Sacred

It is important for you to make your meditation room feel special, so do not treat it the way that you treat the rest of your home. Do not allow piles of papers to build up in this space and do not use it for other purposes either, as those things will not allow it to stay sacred and meaningful to you.

That is all that you need to create the perfect meditation room, or space, inside your home! It is not difficult at all and you can easily transform any space into a meditation area in less than a weekend. So, you now have no excuses when it comes to starting your meditation journey, using my Conscious Movement Course, and taking time to enhance your life in more ways than one.
